Work Photos Nov.1

I asked this construction worker at 9:08 pm if I could take pictures of her after explaining the class project.
She gladly accepted, I tried to explain the blog and where she could find it but she said " woah woah woah, I don't know all that technology stuff" so I opted to text them to her instead. She was so so sweet and kind and was so excited I wish I could show her the blog. 
I unfortunately don't know much about what happened and why they were there I only saw them for about 20 minutes while door dashing on highway 20 on the way to Philomath. I know because I was very surprised on my way back that they were gone, cones and everything by the time I came back from taco bell. I wish I could give you even an educated guess but they had multiple intersections blocked off for what seemed like no reason, no crash or broken light or anything. I would've asked but I was actually on my way to deliver something and door dash times me because they suck.

Moon and White Lies

Going to steal tha moon! in Albany OR near an elementary school.  These were the photos from the white lies party I went to. It was very fun I talked to these girls after I took the photos. in Corvallis the concept of the "white lies" is that you're supposed to write something on your skirt that is obviously a lie.  I love how free these next two photos look. Nothing but dance, sweat, energy and fashion. The girl in the second photo told me her skirt was just 12 scarves tied together.

My Three Photos

 I can't figure out how to edit my first blog so this is my Three Photos haha                  this one I took at the lake was perfectly in the sun and in a branch I took way too many                               and I couldn't stand to delete any of them.                                           This one was about 5AM and already late for work about to hop in the shower and everything was so pink and messy also featuring some indulgences so it felt very bitter sweet in a way and I just thought it was pretty. The last one was obviously taken at LBCC with the event we went too, nothing special just kind of needed a good photo that captured people i think I did it well because everyone is facing the camera, its good quality.

My First Blog

 HI I'm Ashlie I'm studying journalism; I love to read and sad music. I work with disabled children and line cooking. I took this class to give me a better idea of journalism as a whole, I don't have too much experience in photography other than a class i took in freshman year of high school. my three goals are: 1. To try to take more protest photos as i frequent them. 2. to learn to take more accurate and professional photos. 3. hopefully learn somewhat about journalism as a whole.
